Esty Agro is seeking a proactive and results-driven Growth & Partnership Associate to support business expansion through strategic partnerships, funding opportunities, and market growth initiatives across Nigeria’s agricultural value chain.

The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, developing high-quality proposals and grant applications, and building strong relationships with stakeholders including government agencies, development partners, NGOs, and private-sector organizations. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that support agricultural development and empower smallholder farmers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and funding opportunities
  • Develop grant proposals, concept notes, and business proposals
  • Support market expansion and business growth initiatives
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across the agriculture and development sectors
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement projects and partnerships
  • Conduct research and provide insights on Nigeria’s agricultural value chains and market trends

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in business development, agribusiness, partnerships, project management, or grant writing
  • Strong understanding of Nigeria’s agricultural sector and development landscape
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong report writing, analytical, and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet research
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Nigeria
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
  • Passion for agricultural development and supporting smallholder farmers
