3iS is currently recruiting a Humanitarian Coordinator to lead the implementation of its innovative ANTICIPA project in Nigeria. This is a high-impact role for experienced humanitarian professionals passionate about data, AI, and crisis response.

- Contract Type: National Employee
- Start Date: As soon as possible

- Salary: ₦2,600,000 – ₦3,200,000 monthly (based on experience)

About the Role
The Humanitarian Coordinator will serve as the in-country lead for the ANTICIPA initiative, an AI-driven platform designed to transform humanitarian response. The role bridges field operations and technical teams, ensuring that data-driven tools align with real-world needs.
The successful candidate will work closely with key national institutions such as National Emergency Management Agency, Nigerian Red Cross Society, and international partners like International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination
- Represent ANTICIPA across humanitarian forums and coordination platforms
- Build partnerships with UN agencies, NGOs, and government institutions
- Maintain stakeholder mapping and coordination matrices
2. Needs Assessment & Technical Liaison
- Lead field consultations, workshops, and community engagements
- Translate user needs into technical requirements for developers
- Ensure continuous feedback between field teams and engineers
3. Data & Information Management
- Analyze humanitarian data and generate actionable insights
- Develop dashboards, reports, and decision-support tools
4. Community Engagement & Capacity Building
- Design engagement strategies for affected communities
- Train partners and stakeholders on platform usage
Requirements
- Degree in International Relations, Humanitarian Affairs, Data Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years humanitarian experience in Nigeria
- Strong experience working with UN agencies, NGOs, and coordination systems
- Fluency in Hausa (mandatory) and English
- Experience in data analysis, dashboards, and information products
- Knowledge of AI, cloud computing, or data systems is an advantage
