Operating primarily in the Northeast, Northwest, and North Central regions, VISTA responds to the multifaceted impacts of armed conflict, climate change, displacement, natural disasters, and deep socio-economic marginalization.
The organization delivers life-saving humanitarian assistance while simultaneously promoting sustainable development, peacebuilding, and climate-resilient solutions. VISTA Initiative is seeking highly motivated and experienced professionals to fill the following critical roles:
• Head of Programs
• Education Officer
• WASH Officer
• Health Officer
• Nutrition Officer
• MEAL Officer (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning)
• HR & Admin Officer
• Finance and Compliance Officer
• Logistics & Procurement Officer
• Gender and Protection Officer
General Requirements
• Education: A minimum of a Diploma, Higher National Diploma (HND), or a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Relevant professional experience in humanitarian or development contexts, particularly in the specified sectors, will be highly advantageous.
• Location: The primary duty station is Borno State, with a mandatory willingness to undertake frequent field visits to project locations across the Northeast, Northwest, and North Central regions.
• Skills: Strong commitment to humanitarian principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a multicultural team, and proficiency in relevant software applications.
