Program: One-Day Practical Training for Fresh Graduates
Target Audience: Fresh Graduates (Degree & HND holders) struggling to secure their first job.
Location: Nationwide, Nigeria (Training sessions will be organized across various locations)
Program Overview
The Job Placement Information Services (JOPIS), a dedicated unit of the Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD), is pleased to announce a specialized one-day practical training program. This initiative is designed to empower fresh graduates with essential skills and knowledge needed to successfully navigate the competitive job market and bridge the gap between academic qualifications and employment.
What You Will Learn
This hands-on training session will provide participants with practical, actionable strategies and direct feedback from experienced facilitators. The curriculum focuses on critical aspects of job searching:
• Crafting Professional CVs: Learn how to design impactful Curriculum Vitae (CVs) that effectively highlight your skills and experience, making them stand out to potential employers.
• Writing Clear and Convincing Cover Letters: Master the art of writing compelling cover letters that capture attention and articulate your suitability for desired roles.
• Mastering Interview Techniques and Confidence: Develop strong interviewing skills, learn how to answer tough questions, and build the confidence needed to make a lasting impression.
Program Features
• Practical & Hands-on: Participants will actively work on their own CVs and cover letters during the session, receiving personalized feedback.

Eligibility Criteria
• Education: Must be a fresh graduate holding a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc./B.A.) or a Higher National Diploma (HND).
• Status: Currently struggling to land their first job.
• Commitment: Eager to learn and apply practical strategies for career advancement.
