The One Health Resilience Initiative (OHRI) is currently inviting applications from qualified and passionate individuals to join its growing team across multiple states in Nigeria. OHRI is a registered nonprofit organization, formally incorporated in 2025, and is committed to improving the wellbeing of people, animals, and the environment through integrated and sustainable approaches.
As part of its expansion and programme implementation efforts, OHRI is recruiting for the following positions: Compliance Officer, Accountant, Finance Officer, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer, Knowledge Management Officer, Research and Data Analyst, and MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) Manager. These roles are critical to strengthening the organization’s impact, ensuring effective data-driven decision-making, and enhancing programme performance across its intervention areas.
Opportunities are available in Adamawa, Gombe, Jigawa, Kano, and Taraba States. Selected candidates will be expected to contribute to programme design, data collection and analysis, reporting, and knowledge-sharing initiatives that support resilience and sustainable development in underserved communities.
Applicants must be Nigerian citizens or legal residents and at least 18 years old. Candidates should possess a minimum of an HND or degree in relevant fields, along with strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Hausa or other local languages is considered an added advantage. Applicants should also demonstrate basic computer literacy, with advanced digital skills required for technical roles.
In addition, candidates must be willing to travel to field locations, work independently, and collaborate effectively within diverse teams. A strong commitment to OHRI’s core values—resilience, inclusivity, stewardship, integrity, evidence, and collaboration—is essential.
Interested candidates are required to submit a complete application package, including the OHRI Volunteer Application Form, a CV, and a cover letter.
