Job Overview
Internet Solutions Nigeria Limited is seeking a reliable, proactive, and resourceful Field Operations Service Supervisor to serve as the company’s on-ground representative across multiple regions in Nigeria. The role covers the North, South, East, West, and Middle Belt zones for a time-bound hub site clearing project.
The ideal candidate is expected to be either an indigene or a long-term resident of the assigned state, with strong knowledge of the local terrain, community structure, and operational environment. This familiarity is essential to ensure smooth execution of field activities, effective communication, and timely reporting.
The Field Operations Service Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring that all site-level operations are executed according to project specifications, safety standards, and organizational expectations.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Supervise all site clearing activities within the assigned location, ensuring strict compliance with project specifications and technical requirements.
- Provide daily field reports to the Project Manager and NOC Coordinator, including updates on progress, challenges, and photographic evidence.
- Conduct pre-clearance assessments to evaluate site readiness and post-clearance verifications to confirm completion standards.
- Ensure timely mobilization of local resources, including manpower and basic operational support, to facilitate efficient fieldwork.
- Identify and resolve minor operational challenges on-site, escalating major issues to the central coordination team when necessary.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, compliance, and environmental standards during all field operations.
- Liaise with community stakeholders, where required, to ensure smooth access to sites and avoid operational disruptions.
- Support coordination between field teams and management for effective project delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in any discipline. A technical background is considered an added advantage.
- Must be a confirmed indigene or long-term resident of the assigned state or region.
- Possess 2–3 years of field operations experience, preferably in telecom infrastructure, construction, or related sectors.
- Strong communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability.
- Must be resourceful, proactive, and capable of problem-solving in field conditions.
- Must have access to a smartphone with the ability to capture, document, and transmit site photographs and reports digitally.
- Familiarity with basic digital reporting tools will be an added advantage.
