Compensation and Benefits
Monthly Net Salary: 1,812 EUR

Project Background
The position supports a regional project aimed at improving national and regional referral mechanisms in cross border cases of trafficking in human beings in the West Africa region. The project is jointly implemented with the Economic Community of West African States and funded by the European Union. The project strengthens cooperation among ECOWAS Member States and supports protection systems for victims of trafficking in line with regional frameworks and international human rights standards.
Role Summary
The Junior Project Officer will support the implementation of project activities throughout the project life cycle in line with ICMPD procedures and administrative standards. The role includes providing logistical and administrative support, contributing to project planning, reporting, coordination with stakeholders, and supporting the development of new project concepts. The Junior Project Officer reports to the Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Support project cycle implementation and monitor planned activities
Assist with financial and narrative reporting and track expenditures
Provide logistical and administrative support to project activities
Support the organization of meetings, workshops and outreach events
Contribute to stakeholder coordination and communication
Provide inputs into project development, documentation of lessons learned and knowledge sharing
Support the preparation of terms of reference and recruitment processes for consultants and service providers
Qualifications and Experience
Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent
Minimum of one year experience supporting project implementation in migration or a related field at international level
Strong drafting and writing skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
Good coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
Proficiency in standard IT tools
Language Requirements
Fluent written and spoken English and French are mandatory
