The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime is an independent civil society organisation headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, with offices in Austria, South Africa, Colombia and Malta and a globally distributed Secretariat working across approximately 40 countries.

GI TOC brings together a network of more than 708 independent experts working across areas including human rights, democracy, governance and development, particularly in environments where transnational organised crime has become increasingly significant.

The organisation conducts and commissions research, shares knowledge and develops innovative approaches to addressing organised crime and its impact on communities, institutions and governance.

GI TOC also maintains a substantial resource library containing more than 2,000 reports and tools relating to organised crime and uses its convening capacity to bring together public and private sector stakeholders.

The Programme Manager will support the work and delivery of the West Africa Observatory, contributing to research, programme coordination and activities focused on organised crime and related security and governance challenges across the region.
