A leading global development organization, DAI Global, is inviting applications for the position of Team Leader for the UK Nigeria Growth Programme.

The programme is a five year intervention funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office with an estimated value of 10 million pounds. It aims to strengthen economic ties between the United Kingdom and Nigeria by unlocking trade and investment opportunities while addressing key barriers affecting private sector growth, particularly in high potential non oil sectors.
The Team Leader will provide overall strategic and operational leadership, ensuring effective programme delivery and measurable impact. The role involves translating programme objectives into practical interventions, identifying viable investment and trade opportunities, and supporting reforms that improve the business environment. The successful candidate will engage extensively with senior stakeholders across government, investors, regulators, and development partners in both countries.
Applicants should have significant senior level experience in trade, investment, economic growth or related fields, with a strong track record of delivering complex programmes and enabling commercial opportunities. A deep understanding of Nigeria’s economic landscape and the UK Nigeria trade relationship is essential, alongside strong leadership, stakeholder management and problem solving skills.
