Education and Experience
Applicants must hold a master’s degree in International Development, Economics, Business Management, Political Science, or a related field. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree must have a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in development planning, programme coordination, or public sector engagement. Experience with government institutions, regional development agencies, or UN systems is desirable. Fluency in English is required, and working knowledge of Igbo is an asset.
Job Description
The Programme Analyst will serve as a technical and strategic liaison between UNDP, the South-East Development Commission, the North-West Development Commission, and the Anambra State Government. The role involves coordinating development programmes, tracking project implementation, engaging stakeholders, and providing policy and technical analysis to ensure alignment with national and regional development priorities. The Analyst will also support monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, and knowledge sharing.
