Position: Senior Program Manager
Location: Bauchi State
Salary: N735,000 Monthly Net
Our client is an African-inspired Non-Governmental Development Organization committed to complementing government efforts in improving the quality of human life. The organization’s primary focus is on Neglected Tropical Diseases. This hiring is part of the Talent lab recruitment initiative.
The Senior Program Manager will provide overall leadership, coordination, and oversight of all program activities within Bauchi State. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in donor-funded programs and strong stakeholder engagement skills, which is a focal point for Talent lab recruitment in such positions.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven to ten years of progressive experience managing donor-funded programs.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing statewide or local government area-based programs appropriate for Talent lab recruitment.
- Knowledge of donor requirements including FCDO, USAID, END Fund, UNICEF, WHO, and the Global Fund.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the state annual workplans, budgets, activity schedules, and implementation strategies.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective action plans.
- Serve as the primary program liaison with state ministries, local government areas, and implementing partners.
- Conduct regular supervision visits to local government areas to assess progress and ensure quality.
