State Programme Officer Recruitment at Lafiya Nigeria – 3 Positions
Lafiya Nigeria is recruiting three State Programme Officers to support the implementation and coordination of its family planning programmes across northern Nigeria.
The organisation is seeking one State Programme Officer each for Sokoto, Kebbi, and Jigawa States. The successful candidates will join a fast-growing, evidence-driven and cost-effective non-profit organisation focused on improving access to family planning services in hard-to-reach communities.
Position: State Programme Officer (3 Positions)
Lafiya is looking for experienced programme professionals who can provide hands-on coordination, field support, mentoring and supervision to ensure effective programme implementation at the state level.
Key Responsibilities
The State Programme Officers will be responsible for:
- Coordinating programme activities and implementation across their assigned states.
- Supporting, mentoring and supervising Lafiya Sisters in the field.
- Supporting commodity supply-chain activities to ensure the availability of family planning commodities.
- Coordinating field activities and helping to maintain high-quality service delivery.
- Working with relevant government stakeholders and other partners to support programme objectives.
- Contributing to effective programme management and implementation in hard-to-reach communities.
Requirements
Interested candidates should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in programme management, public health, development work, or a related field in Nigeria.
- Experience working with government stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in field coordination and programme implementation.
- Strong coordination, communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work effectively with field teams and stakeholders.

Sokoto, Kebbi, or Jigawa State, Nigeria
Salary and Benefits
Lafiya offers a gross monthly compensation of ₦1,000,000 – ₦1,150,000, in addition to benefits.
