New Incentives pioneers the use of small incentives to encourage caregivers to vaccinate their infants, while increasing awareness of the health benefits of childhood vaccinations. The organization works closely with local clinics, government agencies, and NGOs to expand access and improve vaccination coverage.
Job Summary
The Stakeholder Relations Manager oversees relationships with stakeholders for non-vaccine programmatic components, manages the Stakeholder Relations Officers (SROs), coordinates trainings, and ensures smooth expansion into new operating areas.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supply-Side & Stakeholder Relationships (50%)
- Line manage Stakeholder Relations Officers (SROs)
- Supervise Quarterly Clinic Staff Trainings across assigned states
- Oversee expansion activities: pre-planning, advocacy meetings, and Orientation Trainings
- Conduct regular stakeholder outreach visits and issue resolution
- Participate in Joint States Stakeholder Meetings and other relevant trainings or meetings
- Liaise between SROs and Supply-Side Officers (SSOs)
- Log activity feedback on MyDay app
2. SR Team Management (40%)
- Assist Deputy SRD in team management
- Provide regular feedback on plans and executed activities
- Monitor team compliance, task completion, and ERB status
- Check Master Expansion Gantt to ensure timely execution
- Ensure meeting notes are updated and Work Week Reviews are completed
- Support employee assessment and recognition processes
3. Security Awareness (5%)
- Report security incidents in areas of operation
- Ensure personal and team safety
- Understand and comply with all security documents, SOPs, and Country Security Plan
4. Other Duties / Special Projects (5%)
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (Health or Natural Sciences preferred)
- Professional qualifications in NGO sector advantageous
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience (preferably in an NGO)
Skills & Competencies
- Fluency in English, Hausa, and local dialects (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of the Nigerian health system, particularly infant health and vaccinations
- Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and financial management
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel, internet, smartphones, and communication technologies
- Hard-working, result-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about reducing infant mortality
- Willingness to travel to remote public clinics and use public transport
