Job Summary
The Senior Relationship Manager will drive revenue growth by onboarding and managing SME clients, strengthening relationships, and expanding trade finance and deposit portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Drive growth in trade finance and deposit mobilization for SME clients
Promote products such as letters of credit, bank guarantees, and import export finance
Acquire and manage SME clients with strong deposit potential
Build and maintain long term client relationships
Onboard and activate new to bank SME customers
Understand client needs and provide tailored financial solutions
Collaborate with trade operations and treasury teams for seamless service delivery
Increase low cost deposits and cross sell SME banking products
Improve customer experience and service delivery
Provide regular reports and feedback to management
Ensure proper documentation of meetings, plans, and client interactions
Business Focus
Manage SME clients with annual turnover up to 100 million USD or 150 billion naira
Target sectors including trade, maritime, oil and gas, IT, NGOs, healthcare, education, and commerce
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional qualification
Strong knowledge of trade finance and global trade regulations
Experience in SME banking and lending products
Ability to analyze client needs and provide strategic solutions
Risk and Compliance
Ensure compliance with banking policies and regulations
Adhere to anti money laundering and know your customer requirements
Maintain high ethical standards and follow the bank’s code of conduct
