NewGlobe is recruiting a Talent Acquisition Officer / Recruitment Sourcing Specialist to join its centralized recruitment shared-services team in Katsina, Katsina State.

🎯 ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate will play an important role in identifying, attracting, screening and engaging qualified candidates for both high-volume recruitment and specialized/niche positions.

You will help build strong talent pipelines for current and future vacancies across different countries and levels of seniority.

🔑 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use creative sourcing techniques for volume and niche recruitment.
• Leverage technology and social media platforms to identify candidates.
• Use LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to find qualified talent.
• Develop recruitment strategies for reaching candidates in remote locations across Africa and Southeast Asia.
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs.
• Build and maintain talent pools for immediate and future vacancies.
• Screen CVs and conduct preliminary candidate interviews.
• Provide recruitment progress reports to hiring managers and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on global recruitment trends and best practices.
• Organize open days and job fairs, including screening and logistics.
• Use different media channels, networks and resources to reach untapped talent.
• Help ensure candidates meet the required criteria before progressing in the recruitment process.

🎓 REQUIREMENTS

Candidates should have:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1–2 years of experience in talent acquisition, customer support, coordination or similar roles.
• Experience organizing team workstreams/functions.
• Experience developing systems and processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• An outgoing and proactive personality.
• Experience with Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter is highly preferred.
