Matrix Energy Limited is inviting qualified and interested candidates to participate in a short assessment exercise aimed at updating its candidate pool for future recruitment of Station Managers and Station Supervisors across its retail outlets.
This assessment is expected to take approximately 6 minutes to complete. Successful applicants will be considered for upcoming opportunities within the company’s retail operations in Abuja and Kwamba.

Position 1: Station Manager
Job Summary
The Station Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operational and sales activities at the station. This includes ensuring efficient product discharge, proper stock planning, and maintaining consistent product availability.
The role also involves managing relationships with statutory and regulatory bodies, supervising staff activities, and ensuring the station operates safely and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all station operations
- Conduct daily stock scanning, planning, and inventory management
- Monitor product discharge and ensure accuracy
- Liaise with security personnel and relevant agencies to maintain a safe environment
- Build and maintain relationships with statutory and regulatory bodies
- Drive sales growth and achieve profitability targets
- Implement aggressive marketing strategies to attract new customers
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales/inventory reports
- Increase market share through consistent sales efforts
Position 2: Station Supervisor
Job Summary
The Station Supervisor supports the Station Manager in the day-to-day running of the station. This includes supervising attendants, ensuring accurate cash handling, and maintaining operational efficiency.
The supervisor also plays a key role in customer service and serves as the first point of contact for resolving customer-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Station Manager in daily operations
- Schedule and monitor station attendants’ activities
- Conduct daily safety drills for station personnel
- Manage inventory control of products and materials
- Oversee product discharge operations
- Ensure strict adherence to cash control and cash evacuation policies
- Enforce compliance with operational procedures and safety standards
- Support the team in achieving sales targets
