The Moment of Truth Talent Series is a business reality and talent platform designed to empower underrepresented entrepreneurs, disabled innovators and student founders. The programme provides participants with opportunities to pitch innovative ideas, gain visibility and access resources that can help transform promising ideas into sustainable ventures.
The organisation is currently seeking professionals who can support its digital presence, people operations and programme administration.
Available Positions
1. Social Media and Content Executive
Employment Type: Full-time, Remote
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Salary: ₦200,000 gross per month
Transport stipends are also available for attending live cohort sessions, pop-ups and student interview shoots.
The Social Media and Content Executive will lead the organisation’s digital storytelling and online presence across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and X.
Key responsibilities include creating and editing short-form videos, developing student transformation stories and testimonials, designing visual content, managing social media calendars and engaging with online communities.
The successful candidate will also attend workshops, pitch days, pop-ups and graduation events to capture real-time content.
The role will involve monitoring metrics such as reach, engagement, video completion rates and link clicks and using these insights to improve content strategy and drive programme applications.
Requirements
Candidates should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in social media management, video editing and digital content creation in Nigeria.
A strong portfolio demonstrating short-form video editing, visual storytelling and copy editing is required.
Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, InShot, Canva, Adobe Suite or Figma will be valuable.
A BA, BSc or HND is required.
2. Human Resources Executive
Employment Type: Full-time, Remote
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Salary: ₦240,000 gross per month
Communication and Data Allowance: ₦15,000 per month
The Human Resources Executive will manage core people operations, recruitment, employee relations, performance management and HR administration.
Key responsibilities include drafting job descriptions, advertising vacancies, screening candidates, conducting preliminary interviews and supporting recruitment and selection.
The successful candidate will also coordinate employee onboarding, manage staff records, support performance appraisal processes, organise team-building and wellness activities and assist with professional development initiatives.
The role also involves supporting payroll processing, statutory deductions and benefits administration while ensuring compliance with Nigerian labour and workplace regulations.
Requirements
Candidates should have 2–4 years of generalist HR experience in a fast-paced small business, startup or professional services environment in Nigeria.
A degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field is required.
Associate membership of CIPM or HRCI certification is an advantage.
Applicants should have a strong understanding of Nigerian Labour Law, statutory payroll deductions and workplace compliance requirements.
3. Administrative Assistant
Employment Type: Full-time, Remote
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Salary: ₦150,000 gross per month
Data and Airtime Allowance: ₦15,000 per month
The Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative and operational support for the organisation and its training programmes.
Responsibilities include managing calendars, scheduling meetings and programme sessions, sending reminders and session links, preparing agendas, recording meeting minutes and tracking follow-up actions.
The successful candidate will also respond to candidate enquiries, maintain applicant and participant records, track attendance and assist with onboarding packs, programme updates and completion certificates.
Additional responsibilities include supporting facilitators, preparing training materials and virtual meeting links, managing documents and files, assisting with procurement and tracking petty cash and vendor receipts.
Requirements
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in administrative support, executive assistance or office coordination in Nigeria.
Applicants should be comfortable using Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms and Drive, as well as Microsoft Office and calendar management tools.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills, excellent organisation, attention to detail and good time-management skills are essential.
A BA, BSc or HND is required.
