Applications are now open for the 2026 Cohort of the Pius Anyim Mentorship Programme (PAM-P) — a highly selective leadership fellowship designed to prepare emerging Nigerian leaders for impactful roles across enterprise, institutions, and academia.

Founded by Senator Pius Anyim, former President of the Nigerian Senate and former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, this programme represents a deliberate investment in grooming a new generation of leaders grounded in purpose, ethics, and national development. With over three decades at the centre of Nigeria’s major institutional decisions, Senator Anyim brings deep experience and insight into leadership formation. (Punch Newspapers)

About the Programme

PAM-P is not a mass training initiative. It is a structured and competitive fellowship designed for individuals who have demonstrated leadership potential and are ready for disciplined preparation.

Selected Fellows will participate in:

  • 8-week Online Leadership Academy (accessible nationwide)
  • 5-day Residential Immersion in Abuja
  • Post-programme mentorship and career pathway support

All programme expenses are fully covered, including:

  • Transport
  • Accommodation
  • Feeding
  • Learning materials

No application fee is required.

Leadership Pathways

Applicants must select one primary pathway:

  1. Entrepreneurship and Enterprise
  2. Public and Private Sector Leadership
  3. Academia and Advanced Studies

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must:

  • Be a Nigerian citizen
  • Possess a minimum of BSc or HND
  • Have completed NYSC (serving corps members may apply)
  • Have no more than five (5) years post-NYSC experience
  • Demonstrate leadership potential and strong ethical orientation

Cohort Size

  • Only 30 Fellows will be selected nationwide through a rigorous and merit-based process.
