According to the official NERSI programme website:
- Selected beneficiaries receive a one-off payment.
- Beneficiaries are selected using verified national identity records and the National Social Register.
- There is no open application process.
- Beneficiaries are contacted directly by approved payment providers.
- No registration or processing fee is required.
Beware of Scams
- Do not pay anyone to secure a place on the beneficiary list.
- Never share your PIN, OTP or BVN.
- Do not click suspicious links claiming to offer access to the relief payment.
- Nobody can add you to the beneficiary list for a fee.
