About the PTDF Scholarship Scheme
The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) is the federal government agency mandated to build capacity and provide the human resource capital required for the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are pleased to announce the commencement of applications for the 2026/2027 Overseas Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme (OSS). This initiative is strategically designed to cultivate indigenous talent and ensure that Nigerian professionals are equipped with the advanced technical and management skills necessary to lead the energy sector.
Recently, the scheme has been restructured to further promote the domestication of capacity development while maintaining high-level international exposure. This ensures that the knowledge acquired abroad is effectively integrated into the Nigerian academic and industrial ecosystem.

• International and domestic flight tickets.
• Comprehensive health insurance coverage.
