Talora Agency is recruiting an experienced Project Delivery Supervisor to support the successful execution of strategic projects across Oil and Gas, Power and Renewable Energy.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Project Delivery Supervisor will play a central role in coordinating and delivering complex projects from planning through commissioning and handover.

The successful candidate will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants, suppliers and business stakeholders while ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget and compliant with quality, safety and governance requirements.

This is a project delivery and execution position and is not primarily an administrative, executive assistant or business development role.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate should have 6 to 8 years of progressive experience managing or coordinating complex projects, preferably within Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Renewable Energy, EPC, Utilities, Infrastructure Development or Industrial Engineering.

Candidates should have experience across the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, commissioning and close-out.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones and execution strategies.

Coordinate project activities to align with business objectives, technical requirements, budgets and timelines.

Monitor project performance and address schedule deviations, resource constraints and execution challenges.

Support project development, feasibility assessments, technical evaluations and execution planning.

Coordinate technical and commercial inputs for proposals, bids, tenders and investment opportunities.

Serve as a key coordination point between internal teams, contractors, consultants, suppliers and external partners.

Monitor project scope, schedule, cost, quality and resource utilisation.

Maintain project risk registers and develop mitigation strategies.

Prepare project reports, executive dashboards, presentations and management updates.

Coordinate contractor and vendor performance.

Support contract administration, procurement and cost monitoring.

Track project expenditure, budgets, forecasts and financial performance.

Promote compliance with HSE standards, regulatory requirements and corporate governance.

Support project audits, reviews, handover and close-out activities.

Contribute to improving project management systems, methodologies, templates and reporting tools.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering, Project Management, Energy Studies, Business Administration or a related discipline.

6 to 8 years of relevant project management, project coordination or project delivery experience.

Demonstrated experience delivering multidisciplinary projects in Oil and Gas, Power, Renewable Energy, Utilities, EPC, Infrastructure, Industrial Engineering or related sectors.

Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, project controls and governance.

Experience coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Experience preparing executive reports, dashboards and management presentations.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or equivalent planning tools.

Experience with procurement, vendor management and contract administration.

Strong understanding of project risk management and performance monitoring.

A postgraduate qualification such as MBA, M.Sc., M.Eng. or PGD is an advantage.

PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner or an equivalent project management certification is strongly preferred.

COREN registration or evidence of progression toward professional registration is an added advantage.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Experience across conventional and renewable energy projects.

Experience delivering projects from initiation through commissioning and operational handover.

Experience coordinating large multidisciplinary technical teams.

Strong understanding of engineering project environments and lifecycle management.

Experience working with executive leadership and preparing senior management reports.

Knowledge of commercial project delivery, budgeting, procurement and contractor performance management.
