🎯 Role Overview
The consultant will lead policy review and programme landscape analysis for Balanced Energy Protein (BEP) supplementation in maternal nutrition, supporting evidence-based decision-making and programme strengthening.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Conduct policy review and landscape analysis for maternal nutrition
• Assess programme management and service delivery related to BEP supplements
• Analyze data and provide actionable insights for policy and planning
• Collaborate with UNICEF, WFP, and government stakeholders
• Develop technical reports and recommendations
🎓 Requirements
Education:
• Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in Nutrition, Public Health, Biostatistics, Health Policy, or related field
Experience:
• Minimum 10 years in maternal and child nutrition policy/programming
• Strong experience in Nigeria’s nutrition and health systems
Skills:
• Expertise in data analysis, surveys, and policy development
• Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently and in multicultural environments
• Knowledge of UN systems is an added advantage
