🎯 Job Summary

The Pharmacy Supervisor will act as a key link between the medical and pharmacy teams, ensuring:

• Efficient pharmacy operations
• Rational use of medicines
• Compliance with Good Pharmacy Practices (GPP)

🔑 Key Responsibilities

📦 Stock Management & Supply

• Monitor stock levels, consumption trends, and expiry dates
• Generate weekly reports on shortages and overstock
• Coordinate supply and distribution of pharmaceuticals

💉 Drug Supply & Patient Care

• Ensure timely delivery of medical items
• Enforce SOPs for ordering and replenishment
• Support medical teams in adapting stock to treatment needs

❄️ Cold Chain Management

• Maintain temperature-controlled supply systems
• Ensure proper documentation and monitoring tools
• Submit monthly temperature reports

🔐 Controlled Medications

• Manage narcotics and psychotropic drugs per regulations
• Maintain secure storage and accurate inventory records
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliation

📊 Reporting & Data Analysis

• Prepare monthly and quarterly stock and usage reports
• Identify risks (stockouts, expiries) and recommend actions

👥 Team Supervision

• Supervise pharmacy staff and manage workload
• Conduct training, coaching, and performance reviews
• Ensure compliance with MSF standards and policies

🌍 2. Health Promoter & Community Engagement Officer

(Contract Role)

🎯 Role Overview

This role focuses on community engagement, WASH activities, and public health awareness, ensuring communities actively participate in project implementation.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

🏘️ Community Engagement

• Conduct stakeholder mapping (traditional leaders, youth, women groups)
• Lead community entry and introductory meetings
• Facilitate focus group discussions (FGDs) and assessments

💧 WASH & Public Health Activities

• Promote safe water practices and disease prevention
• Support formation of WASH Committees (WASHCOMs)
• Train community members on borehole maintenance

🤝 Community Systems Strengthening

• Establish feedback mechanisms
• Support community ownership of water facilities
• Monitor borehole functionality and sustainability

📊 Monitoring & Reporting

• Track key indicators (community satisfaction, water access)
• Document lessons learned and best practices
• Report progress and challenges to line manager

🎓 Qualifications

• HND or Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
