JOB VACANCY – LPG STATION MANAGER | ARDOVA PLC

Ardova Plc, a leading indigenous integrated energy company in Nigeria, is recruiting for the position of LPG Station Manager in Maiduguri, Borno State.

Ardova Plc operates over 450 retail outlets nationwide and is actively involved in the distribution of petroleum products including PMS, AGO, DPK, and LPG. The company is also known for producing high-quality lubricants and distributing Shell Helix engine oils in Nigeria.

Job Summary

The LPG Station Manager will oversee the daily operations of the LPG station, ensuring safety compliance, driving sales, managing staff, and delivering excellent customer service. The role also involves coordinating financial and operational resources to achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities

Safety, Standards & Control

• Ensure a clean, safe, and customer-friendly station environment
• Maintain high standards in product quality and service delivery
• Ensure compliance with operational and safety regulations

Sales, Operations & Business Development

• Drive sales and ensure financial targets are consistently met
• Manage inventory and minimize stock loss
• Coordinate marketing activities to boost sales performance

Data & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and financial data
• Ensure timely reporting, reconciliation, and documentation
• Prepare periodic operational and financial reports

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
• Uphold company reputation through professionalism and compliance

People Management

• Supervise station staff and ensure adherence to procedures
• Promote efficiency, accountability, and teamwork

Requirements

• Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• 4–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in LPG station management
• Strong knowledge of LPG operations and oil & gas industry practices
• Experience in sales, business development, and inventory management
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in computer applications and reporting tools
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
