About the Job

The M&E Intern will support project monitoring and data management activities to ensure accurate reporting and evidence-based decision-making. The intern will gain practical experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting within humanitarian and development programs.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support data collection activities (surveys, FGDs, monitoring visits)
  • Assist in using data collection tools (e.g. Kobo Toolbox)
  • Support data entry, cleaning, and basic analysis
  • Assist in maintaining M&E databases and trackers
  • Support field monitoring and verification of activities
  • Contribute to preparation of reports and documentation
  • Support accountability and feedback mechanisms
  • Ensure data confidentiality and quality standards
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Position Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Public Health, Development Studies, or related fields
  • Basic understanding of Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Familiarity with Kobo Toolbox or Excel is an added advantage
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Willingness to learn and work in the field
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • High level of creativity, initiative, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
