1) Senior Research and Impact Analyst

Type: Full-time, 12-month renewable (subject to funding and performance)

Compensation: USD 1,800 gross per month, plus benefits (paid in NGN)

Role Overview

This role leads high-rigour evidence generation as Lafiya transitions from startup to national scale. The position focuses on rigorous evaluation design, advanced statistical analysis, and producing policy-relevant evidence to influence national adoption and donor reporting. The role is suited to a technically strong researcher who can own the full research lifecycle from design through field execution to publication-ready outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design rigorous evaluations, sampling strategies, and protocols

• Lead end-to-end research management, including ethical approvals and field quality assurance

• Conduct advanced statistical analysis and longitudinal tracking

• Build data pipelines and automated workflows using R, Python, or SQL

• Represent the MEL team in federal-level stakeholder engagements

• Produce publication-ready analysis for donors and academic audiences

• Translate technical findings into clear, policy-relevant insights

2) Data Quality and Field Lead

Type: Full-time, 12-month renewable (subject to funding and performance)

Compensation: USD 970 gross per month, plus benefits (paid in NGN)

Role Overview

This is a field-oriented role strengthening Lafiya’s routine monitoring systems and government data alignment as the programme scales. The role manages Data Verification Officers, leads reconciliation with government health information systems, supports state partnerships, and ensures data quality across service delivery and supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and build capacity of Data Verification Officers

• Lead field spot checks and monthly reconciliation with government systems

• Coordinate with state M&E units and partners to strengthen reporting

• Serve as MEL lead for contraceptive supply chain monitoring

• Contribute to tools, dashboards, SOPs, and external reporting

• Provide validated datasets for evaluations and learning reviews

Required Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, Social Sciences, Supply Chain, or related field

• Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in M&E, public health operations, or supply chain

• Experience managing field teams and working with government stakeholders

• Professional fluency in English and Hausa

• Working knowledge of DHIS2 and NHLMIS

• Experience with SurveyCTO, ODK, or CommCare

• Strong data integrity, field leadership, and coordination skills
