KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Identify and acquire new customers, businesses, and prospective clients.
2. Promote banking products, including savings and current accounts, personal loans, POS terminals, and other financial solutions.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
4. Generate leads and convert prospects into active banking customers.
5. Drive account opening, customer onboarding, and deposit mobilisation.
6. Work towards assigned sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
7. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential customer segments.
8. Follow up with customers to improve engagement, retention, and use of banking products.
9. Ensure compliance with bank policies, Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, and applicable regulations.
10. Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates on business development activities.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should possess:

1. A B.Sc. or HND in any discipline from a recognised institution.
2. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
3. An interest in sales, marketing, customer service, and business development.
4. The ability to build relationships and persuade prospective customers.
5. A target-driven attitude, initiative, and willingness to work in a performance-based environment.
6. Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
7. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with digital banking channels.

Previous experience in sales or customer service is an advantage but is not compulsory.
