EcoClimate Foundation is inviting applications for the position of Communication and Social Media Officer to support its climate action initiatives in Zaria, Kaduna State.
This role is part of a landmark methane mitigation project aimed at driving measurable environmental impact across Nigeria. The organization is seeking a creative and results driven professional to lead digital communication efforts and amplify climate action messaging.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing social media platforms including Facebook, X, Instagram, and LinkedIn. The role involves creating engaging graphics, animations, and videos, supporting public campaigns and community engagement activities, and translating technical climate information into compelling and accessible content. The officer will also monitor analytics to improve digital performance and expand audience reach.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in communications or social media management. Strong writing, storytelling, and digital analytics skills are essential. Candidates should also be ready for immediate engagement upon selection.
