Call for Applications: Gombe Digital Talent Development Program
The Gombe State Information Technology and Digital Economy Commission (GOSIDEC) is pleased to announce the creation of a comprehensive database of skilled IT professionals across the state, as part of preparations for an upcoming strategic digital development program.
This initiative is designed to support the vision of His Excellency, Dr. Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, in promoting digital inclusion, innovation, and youth empowerment throughout Gombe State. As part of this effort, 70 qualified individuals will be selected to participate in this exclusive opportunity.
Eligibility Criteria
We invite applications from individuals who meet the following requirements:
- Target Applicants: Youths, NYSC Corps Members, and unemployed professionals
- Age Range: 20 – 35 years
- Educational Requirement: Applicants must possess a valid certificate in at least one of the following fields:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Data Analytics
- Cyber Security
- Cloud Computing
Selection Process
To ensure fairness, inclusivity, and equal representation across the state, the 70 available slots will be distributed among all Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Gombe State.
Selection will be strictly merit-based, with priority given to candidates who:
- Demonstrate strong competency through relevant certifications
- Can provide proof of residency or indigene status within a specific LGA
Required Documents
Applicants are expected to upload the following documents during the application process:
- A valid professional certificate in AI, Data Analytics, Cyber Security, or Cloud Computing
- An Indigene Letter to confirm LGA representation
