Pullus Africa, a technology-driven agricultural company focused on empowering poultry farmers through access to finance, markets, advisory services, and quality inputs, is currently recruiting qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Officer in Kaduna State. This full-time role is designed for a technically competent professional who can ensure the smooth operation and reliability of the company’s facilities and equipment.

The Maintenance Officer will be responsible for the hands-on management of facility infrastructure, including electrical systems, generators, solar systems, cold rooms, and other operational equipment. The role requires a proactive individual capable of performing routine inspections, preventive servicing, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency. The successful candidate will also be expected to troubleshoot technical faults independently, respond promptly to maintenance emergencies, and determine when external technical support is required.

In addition, the officer will monitor the performance of power systems and equipment, coordinate external contractors during specialized repairs, and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including servicing schedules and equipment history. Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards, conducting regular safety checks, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives are also key aspects of the role.

To qualify, applicants must possess a Diploma, OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field. A minimum of four years of hands-on experience in facility or technical maintenance is required, along with a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety practices, and maintenance procedures. Candidates should also demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and maintenance tracking systems. Good communication and teamwork skills are essential, and applicants must reside in Kaduna.
