AFRYDEV is a reputable NGO with over 13 years of experience delivering impactful programs in peacebuilding, governance, gender inclusion, and socio-economic development across Northeast Nigeria.
🟢 1. Wakilan Sauyi Facilitator (Community Volunteer)
🎯 Role Overview
The Wakilan Sauyi Facilitator will lead weekly dialogue sessions for couples, focusing on transforming harmful gender norms, improving household relationships, and promoting women’s economic empowerment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate weekly gender dialogue sessions for couples
• Promote respectful communication and shared decision-making
• Track attendance and participant engagement
• Document session outcomes and behavioral changes
• Support community awareness and sensitization activities
• Refer sensitive cases (e.g., GBV concerns) appropriately
✅ Requirements
• Minimum SSCE qualification
• Ability to read/write in Hausa or English
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in community work (preferred)
• Fluency in Hausa (required)
🔵 2. Social Analysis and Action (SAA) Facilitator (Community Volunteer)
🎯 Role Overview
The SAA Facilitator will guide community groups through reflective dialogue sessions to challenge harmful norms and promote inclusive community-driven change.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate bi-weekly SAA dialogue sessions
• Support community action planning and follow-ups
• Engage community leaders and stakeholders
• Document progress, success stories, and challenges
• Promote inclusive participation across groups
✅ Requirements
• Minimum SSCE qualification
• Strong facilitation and listening skills
• Ability to manage group discussions effectively
• Fluency in Hausa (required), English is an advantage
• Must be a respected member of the community

• Duration: Up to 12 months (renewable)
