Job Summary
The Sales Executive / Advisor (Underwriter) will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of insurance products, while also supporting underwriting processes to ensure accurate risk evaluation and policy documentation. The role requires a blend of strong sales ability, client relationship management, and technical understanding of underwriting practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of insurance products to meet and exceed assigned targets
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and referrals
- Build and maintain strong client relationships for retention and repeat business
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure accurate policy documentation and risk assessment
- Prepare and submit sales reports and necessary client documentation
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, preferably in insurance or financial services
- Proven experience in underwriting is required
- Minimum qualification: OND, HND, or BSc in any related field
- Must have completed NYSC
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Target-driven with the ability to work independently and meet goals
