Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) is a globally recognized research and policy nonprofit dedicated to discovering and advancing solutions that improve the lives of people living in poverty. By collaborating with leading researchers and decision-makers, IPA designs and evaluates evidence-based interventions that drive real-world impact.

Since its establishment in 2002, IPA has partnered with over 600 academics to conduct more than 1,000 evaluations across 52 countries. These efforts have informed large-scale programs that positively impact millions of lives worldwide.

CURRENT OPENINGS (NIGERIA)

IPA is currently recruiting for the following roles:

  • Policy Support Intern
  • Manager, National Poverty Lab
  • MEL Associate, Poverty Embedded Evidence Lab
  • Associate Research and Policy Manager
  • Research Associate

Locations: Nigeria (various roles may be based in different locations within the country).

ABOUT THE ROLES

These roles span across research, policy, and monitoring & evaluation (MEL), offering opportunities for both early-career professionals and experienced candidates to contribute to impactful, evidence-based development work.

Successful candidates will work on projects that influence policy decisions, improve program effectiveness, and contribute to reducing poverty through data-driven insights.
