The Federal University of Health Sciences and Technology, Tsafe (FUHSATT), Zamfara State, invites applications from suitably qualified and motivated candidates for various Academic, Administrative, Technical, and Support Staff positions. This recruitment exercise is part of preparations for the full commencement of University operations in 2026.
FUHSATT is a newly established Federal institution dedicated to excellence in health sciences education, cutting-edge biomedical research, and specialized healthcare training. The University comprises faculties including Basic Medical Sciences, Allied Health Sciences, Medical Technology, and Basic Sciences, with a strong focus on innovation, ethics, and impact.
Available Positions
Applications are invited for roles across the following categories:
1. Academic Positions (CONMESS/CONUASS):
Professor, Associate Professor (Reader), Senior Lecturer, Lecturer I & II, Assistant Lecturer/Librarian, and Graduate Assistant.
Candidates must possess relevant postgraduate qualifications (PhD or Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or equivalent), with required years of teaching, research, and administrative experience depending on rank. Evidence of scholarly publications and academic leadership is required for senior roles.
2. Non-Academic Positions (CONTISS):
Opportunities are available in Administration, Registry, Bursary, Procurement, Legal Services, ICT, Engineering, Security, Library, Medical Laboratory Services, and other support units.
Positions include (but are not limited to): Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Administrative Officers, Accountants, Internal Auditors, Procurement Officers, Legal Officers, Architects, Engineers, ICT Specialists, Security Officers, Medical Laboratory Scientists, and Technical/Support Staff.
Candidates must possess relevant academic qualifications, professional certifications, and work experience as applicable to each role. ICT proficiency and membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.
