Talent Lab is currently recruiting on behalf of an African-inspired Non-Governmental Development Organization (NGDO) committed to supporting government efforts in improving the quality of human life. The organization focuses primarily on addressing Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) and strengthening public health outcomes across underserved communities.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems across multiple program portfolios. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring data-driven decision-making and enhancing program effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive M&E frameworks for multi-location and multi-stakeholder programs.
  • Develop and oversee both quantitative and qualitative data collection tools, including surveys and monitoring instruments.
  • Ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting to support program performance tracking.
  • Provide evidence-based insights and recommendations to improve program delivery and outcomes.
  • Offer technical M&E support and capacity-building to implementing partners and field teams.
  • Strengthen learning systems to promote continuous program improvement and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a closely related discipline.
  • A minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience in Monitoring and Evaluation within development programs or similar sectors.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing M&E systems for complex, multi-location, or multi-partner projects.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
