🎯 About the Role
The Health Manager will support the Chief of Health and HIV in managing UNICEF’s Maternal, Neonatal, Child and Adolescent Health (MNCAH) portfolio.
The role involves:
- Programme development and planning
- Programme management and monitoring
- Results-based management and reporting
- Technical and advisory support
- Advocacy and partnership building
- Innovation and knowledge management
- Capacity building
🎓 Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Master’s degree or equivalent advanced university degree in:
- Public Health
- Paediatric Health
- Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Family Health
- Biology
- Health Research
- Global/International Health
- Health Policy or Management
- Biostatistics
- Epidemiology
- Socio-medical sciences
- Health Education
- Or another relevant technical field.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in one or more of:
- Public health planning and management
- Maternal and neonatal healthcare
- HIV, TB or malaria
- Health emergency/humanitarian preparedness
💼 Required Skills
Experience in:
- Monitoring & Evaluation
- Strategic Planning
- Advocacy
- Programme Management
- Partnership Building
Language: Fluency in English is required.
⭐ Desirable Qualifications
Additional advantages include:
- Knowledge of another UN official language or a local language
- Experience with Global Fund, GFF or GAVI

- Country-level experience, particularly in development, fragile or humanitarian settings
