Job Description

Careers Verified Limited is recruiting young, ambitious and results-driven graduates for its Graduate Trainee Programme as Field Sales and Customer Acquisition Executives within the banking sector.

Successful candidates will drive customer acquisition, promote banking products and services, develop new business opportunities and expand the bank’s customer base through field sales and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify and acquire new customers through field marketing and sales activities.
2. Promote savings accounts, current accounts, loans, POS terminals, debit cards and other banking products.
3. Meet assigned customer acquisition and account-opening targets.
4. Visit businesses, markets and organisations to generate sales leads.
5. Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers.
6. Educate customers on banking products and digital banking services.
7. Support customer onboarding in line with KYC and compliance requirements.
8. Prepare regular sales reports and identify opportunities for business growth.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of Second Class Lower or Lower Credit, where applicable.
3. NYSC discharge certificate, exemption certificate or evidence of completion.
4. 0–2 years of relevant work experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
5. Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills.
6. Good numerical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Interest in sales, marketing, business development and banking.
8. Willingness to undertake field sales activities and work in a target-driven environment.

Training and Career Development

Successful candidates will receive structured training in banking operations, financial products, sales techniques, customer acquisition, relationship management, KYC and AML compliance, digital banking and customer service.
