Job Summary
The Farm Assistant will support the daily operations of the farm, ensuring proper livestock care and smooth farm activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with feeding, watering, and handling livestock
- Monitor animal health and report any issues
- Maintain cleanliness of animal pens and farm facilities
- Support feed distribution and routine farm tasks
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of farm tools
- Follow health, safety, and biosecurity procedures
- Carry out additional duties assigned by management
Requirements & Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field (added advantage)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in livestock farming or similar role
- Basic knowledge of livestock handling and farm operations
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
- Must be honest, reliable, and hardworking
- Strong commitment to animal welfare and farm hygiene
