NOW HIRING: INVENTORY OFFICER

A reputable multilateral company is currently seeking to recruit qualified, detail-oriented, and highly organized individuals for the position of Inventory Officer across multiple locations in Nigeria.

📍 Locations: Enugu, Ogun, Yobe, Imo, Abia, Sokoto, Delta, Bauchi, Borno, Adamawa, Kano, Taraba, and Gombe
🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time
📅 Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday

  • Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Role Overview

The Inventory Officer will be responsible for overseeing stock management processes, ensuring accurate inventory records, supporting store operations, and maintaining efficient stock flow within the organization. The ideal candidate must be proactive, reliable, and capable of handling inventory systems with precision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Management

  • Receive, inspect, and properly record incoming stock using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method
  • Issue stock accurately while maintaining proper documentation
  • Conduct daily physical stock counts and periodic inventory audits
  • Identify, track, and manage faulty or damaged items, including spare parts

2. Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare and submit detailed daily inventory and stock reports
  • Monitor stock levels and track inventory movements to support timely restocking or replacements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory transactions

3. Repairs and Tools Management

  • Carry out basic diagnostics and minor repairs on inventory items where necessary
  • Manage tools effectively, ensuring proper usage and accountability
  • Monitor warranty status of items and ensure compliance with company policies

4. Store Operations & Customer Support

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment at all times
  • Attend to walk-in customers professionally and provide necessary assistance
  • Support field agents with inventory-related needs and ensure smooth operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory management, logistics, storekeeping, or retail operations
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and reporting skills
  • Strong communication skills with a high level of integrity and customer focus
  • Familiarity with the location of residence (preferred for operational efficiency)
