The Opportunity

Ipsos Nigeria is currently recruiting energetic, professional, and integrity-driven individuals for an ongoing census and research project in the South-South and South-East regions. We are looking for candidates to fill the following project-based roles:

1. Field Supervisors / Interviewers

Job Summary:

Supervisors are responsible for overseeing the collection of accurate, high-quality data. This involves conducting face-to-face, telephone, or online interviews. Your role is critical in ensuring that research findings truly represent the experiences of the target demographic.

Key Responsibilities:

  Conduct structured interviews according to project requirements and strict timelines.

  Administer questionnaires accurately and without bias, maintaining Ipsos quality standards.

  Record responses clearly using digital tools (tablets/mobile devices) or paper forms.

  Approach respondents professionally and maintain strict confidentiality and ethical guidelines.

  Achieve daily and weekly targets as assigned by the Regional Manager.

Requirements:

  Minimum of OND, HND, or NCE (A Bachelor’s degree is an added advantage).

  Excellent communication skills in English and at least one local language.

  Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage field workflows.

2. Data Collectors / Enumerators

Job Summary:

As an Enumerator, you will be responsible for the physical mapping and data collection of outlets through face-to-face interviews. This role is essential for the accuracy of the ongoing census project.

Key Responsibilities:

  Identify and approach outlet owners professionally to explain the research purpose.

  Collect high-quality data using mobile data collection tools.

  Ensure the integrity of the data collected from various locations across the assigned region.

Requirements:

  Minimum of SSCE or any relevant degree.

  Excellent communication skills in English, Pidgin, and/or Igbo.

  High level of computer literacy (essential for digital data entry).

  Familiarity with local terrains in the South-South and South-East regions.
