📍 Location: Gummi, Zamfara State

🎯 Focus: Mental Health & Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)
💡 What You’ll Actually Be Doing
- Provide one-on-one and group counseling
- Support malnourished children, caregivers, and survivors of violence
- Conduct psychosocial assessments & intake interviews
- Deliver psychoeducation sessions (coping skills, emotional support)
- Work closely with:
- Doctors & nurses
- Health promotion teams
- Refer complex cases for psychiatric care
- Keep accurate records and reports
👉 In simple terms: You’ll be directly helping vulnerable people cope mentally and emotionally in a humanitarian setting.
✅ Do You Qualify?
🎓 Education
- Degree in:
- Psychology
- Counseling
- Social Work (or related)
⏳ Experience
- Minimum: 1 year
- Strong advantage if:
- You’ve worked with NGOs
- You’ve handled trauma, GBV, or community health cases
