💡 What You’ll Actually Do

This role is about keeping the project financially organized and compliant.

💰 Core Responsibilities

  • Manage cash and payments (suppliers, staff advances, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate accounting records
  • Verify and file receipts & financial documents
  • Support monthly financial reporting & closing
  • Assist in budget planning and treasury forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with MSF financial procedures

🧾 Daily Tasks (Simplified)

  • Process payments ✔️
  • Record expenses in accounting system ✔️
  • Check documents for errors ✔️
  • Track deadlines (rent, reports, etc.) ✔️
  • Support audits & reporting ✔️

👉 In simple terms:
You’ll be the person ensuring every naira is tracked, justified, and properly documented.

✅ Do You Qualify?

🎓 Education

  • Degree in:
    • Accounting
    • Finance
    • Business Administration

⏳ Experience

  • Minimum: 2 years in finance/admin roles
  • Advantage if:
    • NGO experience
    • Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Unifield)

💻 Skills Needed

  • Strong Excel & computer skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Organization & accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines
