The Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development invites journalists, editors, and civil society communicators to participate in a two day virtual training and story lab under its Agricultural Reporting and Climate Change Project. Furthermore, the Climate agriculture fellowship supports ongoing professional growth for participants.
Program Overview
The initiative focuses on strengthening reporting at the intersection of climate change and agriculture. Selected participants will take part in a two day virtual training and receive support to develop impactful stories through a guided story lab associated with the Climate agriculture fellowship.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
Be based in Nigeria
Be affiliated with a credible media platform with national or sub regional reach
Commit to publishing stories within the agreed timeline
Female journalists and Persons with Disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. In addition, the Climate agriculture fellowship prioritises diversity and inclusion in its selection process.
