Edge Hopebuilders for Youth and Women Initiative is pleased to announce the opening of applications for its impactful Her Voice in Governance Project. This initiative is a critical leadership and civic engagement program specifically designed to empower women in North Central Nigeria. The project aims to equip participants with the essential knowledge, practical skills, and robust platforms needed to actively participate in governance and drive public accountability within their communities and beyond.

About the Project

The Her Voice in Governance Project is founded on the belief that inclusive governance is contingent on the active and informed participation of women. It seeks to bridge the gender gap in leadership and decision-making by nurturing a new generation of female leaders who are well-versed in democratic processes and accountability mechanisms. Through a comprehensive curriculum and hands-on activities, the project will build the capacity of women to advocate for their rights, articulate their needs, and influence policy decisions.

•  Passion for Governance: Women who are deeply passionate about issues of good governance, public accountability, social justice, and inclusive leadership.
