Programme Overview
The Jigawa State Government has officially launched ARISE Jigawa (Accelerating Readiness, Innovation & Skills for Employment)—a free, intensive 2-day training programme designed to equip young people with practical, demand-driven skills for today’s digital economy.
This initiative aims to empower 1,500 youths across the state with the knowledge, tools, and confidence needed to secure employment, start freelance careers, or improve their professional prospects. The programme focuses on bridging the gap between education and employability by providing hands-on training aligned with current industry needs.
Training Locations
The programme will be conducted across multiple centers in Jigawa State, including:
- Dutse
- Ringim
- Hadejia
- Gumel
- Kazaure
- Kafin Hausa
Participants will be assigned to training centers closest to their location.
Who Can Apply?
Interested applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Age: 18 – 35 years
- Education: Must have completed NYSC
- Residency: Must be an indigene or resident of Jigawa State
- Digital Skills: Basic ability to use a smartphone or computer
- Employment Status: Must be unemployed or underemployed
