The Digital Bridge Institute DBI has been designated as an International Telecommunication Union ITU Digital Transformation Centre DTC. This designation represents a significant global recognition of DBI’s capacity to drive inclusive digital development and strengthen digital skills delivery.
With this designation, Nigeria becomes the first country in the world to host both an ITU Digital Transformation Centre and an ITU Academic Centre. This unique dual status reinforces DBI’s mandate to deliver globally recognized digital skills programmes and extend their reach to underserved and unserved communities across the country.
As part of this expanded role, DBI will deploy ITU certified courses directly to communities that need them most. To support this initiative, the Institute is launching Train the Trainers programmes aimed at equipping qualified instructors with the necessary skills and certifications to deliver ITU approved trainings on behalf of the Digital Bridge Institute.
DBI invites applications from individuals who are passionate about digital skills empowerment and community development, interested in training individuals in underserved communities, and willing to participate in a free Train the Trainers programme while being available to support community trainings when required.
