Fellowship Opportunity Announcement
Applications are now open for the NGFP2027 Fellowship, an exciting global opportunity designed to support emerging practitioners who are passionate about shaping the future through foresight and innovative thinking. This fellowship aims to bring together a diverse group of individuals from across Africa, Asia, and Latin America who are committed to driving meaningful change in their communities and beyond.
The program is open to applicants between the ages of 18 and 35. However, individuals above 35 years of age may also apply if they have less than one year of experience in foresight practice. This inclusive approach ensures that both young leaders and new entrants into the foresight field have the opportunity to participate and grow within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The NGFP2027 Fellowship focuses on key global themes that are critical to sustainable development and future resilience. These thematic areas include climate action, just transitions, democracy and governance, sustainable development, emerging technologies, health systems, as well as peace and security. Selected fellows will have the opportunity to work on projects aligned with these focus areas while gaining access to mentorship, learning resources, and a network of global experts.
As part of the fellowship, participants may receive financial support ranging from $1,000 to $10,000. This funding is intended to serve as a kickstarter or growth fund to help fellows develop and implement innovative ideas, projects, or initiatives that address real-world challenges within their communities.
The program will be conducted in English, and applicants are expected to have a working proficiency in the language to fully engage in all fellowship activities, including training sessions, collaborative projects, and knowledge-sharing engagements.
