The Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG) is inviting applications from qualified researchers, policy experts, academics, and development professionals for the Non-Residential Fellowship Programme (NRFP), Cohort 3.
The 24-month fellowship is designed for professionals passionate about evidence-based research, public policy, economic development, and policy advocacy in Nigeria.
🎯 ABOUT THE FELLOWSHIP
The NRFP provides selected Senior Fellows with an opportunity to contribute to high-quality research and policy discussions addressing some of Nigeria’s most important economic and development challenges.
Fellows will become part of a network comprising distinguished scholars, industry experts, researchers, and development professionals working to translate research evidence into practical policy solutions.
🔎 THEMATIC AREAS
Selected fellows will conduct research in one of the following areas:
🔹 Human Capital Development
Research focused on improving Nigeria’s human capital, including education, skills development, health, productivity, and other factors that contribute to inclusive economic growth.
🔹 Macroeconomics & Labour Market
Research examining Nigeria’s macroeconomic environment, employment, labour-market dynamics, productivity, economic policy, and related development challenges.
🔹 Agro-Industrial Transformation & Food Systems
Research addressing agricultural transformation, food systems, value chains, productivity, agribusiness, and opportunities for sustainable economic development.
