Datharm Foundation for Social Impact is recruiting experienced Research Supervisors for the Immunisation Accelerator Project aimed at reducing Zero-Dose (ZD) children and strengthening immunisation services in Jigawa State.
The selected candidates will oversee a four-week field data collection exercise, ensuring high-quality quantitative and qualitative data while maintaining strict adherence to study protocols, ethical standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise enumerators and coordinate field activities
- Ensure compliance with research protocols and ethical standards
- Conduct spot checks, back-checks, and quality assurance visits
- Monitor daily data collection and support field teams
- Troubleshoot operational and technical challenges
- Liaise with community leaders and health stakeholders
- Ensure timely data synchronization and reporting
- Support data validation, cleaning, and verification
Requirements:
- Minimum of a First Degree in Public Health, Nursing, Epidemiology, Statistics, Social Sciences, or related field
- At least 2 years’ experience in research, M&E, or public health data collection
- Prior experience supervising field teams is essential
- Proficiency in digital data tools (KoboCollect, ODK, SurveyCTO, REDCap)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in Hausa and English
- Familiarity with Jigawa LGAs is an added advantage
