Last Mile Climate is seeking a dedicated Programme Manager to join our dynamic and diverse team. As a new kind of humanitarian NGO, we focus on catalyzing genuine public-private partnerships to deliver scalable climate solutions in last mile communities across Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda. We call our approach #ClimateActionPartnership and our work is supported by a multi-year grant from the IKEA Foundation and the Robert Bosch Stiftung.
 
Key Details:
Location: Kampala, Nairobi, or Kigali (Flexible work arrangements)
Position: Regional Programme Manager
Duration: Immediate start until the end of 2027 (with possibilities for extension)
 
In this role, you will:
Provide strategic oversight and leadership for our colleagues and #ClimateActionPartnerships programme across East Africa.
Engage with diverse stakeholders, including NGOs, governments, UN agencies, and private sector partners, to enhance programme impact.
Oversee resource management, monitoring & evaluation, and advocacy for market-based climate action in refugee contexts.
